Election Tribunal (ET) will make public on Wednesday its ruling on a petition regarding the vote fraud in NA-154 Lodhran filed by PTI’s Jahangir Khan Tareen.
It should be mentioned here that Siddique Baloch notched up NA-154 seat in May 2013 general electionsas an independent candidate. He later joined PML-N ranks.
NA-122 by defeating PTI Chairman Imran Khan in the May 2013 general elections. But, Sadiq’s victory was questioned by Imran Khan.
Last week, the tribunal’s judge Kazim Ali Malik annulled the elections results of NA-122 and PP-147 and ordered re-vote. PML-N’s Mohsin Latif defeated PTI’s Shoaib Siddiqui in PP-147.
It is worth noting here that PTI demanded vote audit and re-polling in four constituencies i.e. NA-122, NA-125 (Lahore-VIII), NA-110 (Sialkot-I) and NA-154 (Lodhran-I).
Earlier, PTI won the NA-125 seat from railways minister Saad Rafique through ET ruling and termed it as their first vital wicket.
